2. Collection & Use of Credit Information

The Customer and/or Guarantor(s) agree that Skyline Spares and Parts Pty Ltd may obtain a credit report containing personal credit information about the Customer and Guarantor(s) in relation to credit provided by the Seller.

The Customer and/or Guarantor(s) agree that the Seller may exchange information with other credit providers either:

• Named as trade referees by the Customer, or

• Identified in a consumer credit report issued by a credit reporting agency

for the following purposes:

1. To assess a credit application by the Customer;

2. To notify other credit providers of a default by the Customer;

3. To exchange information with other credit providers regarding the status of the Customer’s account where the Customer is in default with other providers;

4. To assess the creditworthiness of the Customer and/or Guarantor(s).

3. Collection of Credit Reports for Debt Recovery

The Customer consents to Skyline Spares and Parts Pty Ltd obtaining a consumer credit report for the purpose of collecting overdue payments on commercial credit, in accordance with Section 18K(1)(h) of the Privacy Act 1988.

4. Use and Retention of Personal Credit Information

Personal credit information provided may be used and retained by the Seller for:

• Provision of goods and services;

• Marketing of goods by the Seller, its agents, or distributors;

• Analysing, verifying, or checking the Customer’s credit, payment, and account status;

• Processing payment instructions, direct debits, or credit facilities requested by the Customer;

• Enabling the daily operation of the Customer’s account and collection of outstanding amounts.

5. Disclosure to Credit Reporting Agencies

Skyline Spares and Parts Pty Ltd may provide information about the Customer to credit reporting agencies for the following purposes:

• To obtain a consumer credit report about the Customer;

• To allow the credit reporting agency to create or maintain a credit information file containing information about the Customer.
